5 Ways to Destress This Summer

After COVID-19 caused most people to abandon their summer plans in 2020, many are looking forward to getting out and about this year. However, with summer trips come stress. Couple that with lingering concerns and hardships from the pandemic, and it isn’t uncommon for stress levels to be fairly high.

1. Adopt a New Screen Time Strategy

While digital devices can be an entertainment resource, they can also be a source of stress. You may be exposed to traumatic news through posts mixed into your social media feed or may be disrupted by work emails that are always hitting your inbox, for example. Also, your screen time may be overstimulating, something that can produce feelings of anxiety.

While you don’t have to completely ditch your digital devices, rethinking your screen time is wise.
